Saturday, March 14th, 6pm — 10pm

The combined choirs of Tacoma Community College welcome you to "On Broadway," their third annual all-singing, all-dancing tribute to great American Broadway musicals. This tuneful revue, featuring music from "My Fair Lady," "Jane Eyre," Roger Miller's "Big River," "Victor/Victoria," "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," and many other timeless and captivating shows, will take place at the Tacoma Community College Performing Arts Center (Building 3) on Saturday, March 14, 2009, beginning at 7:30 PM. The ticket price of just $15.00 (or $12.00 for students) also includes a pasta dinner, served in TCC Building 11 beginning at 6:00 PM, as well as musical entertainment during your meal.

The Tacoma Community College Performing Arts Center is located at 6501 South 19th Street in Tacoma, Washington.

"All of the choirs, as well as a talented group of dancers and musicians, have been working very hard to make this revue a success," said Kevin Gausepohl, director of TCC choral programs. "I'm sure the audience will be both surprised and thrilled by the high quality of their performances. And, since the concert also includes a delicious dinner, this annual event is a real entertainment bargain for the entire family."

In addition to performances by the TCC Gospel Choir, TCC Voices, TCC Singers, the Men's Ensemble, Women’s Quartet, and a variety of soloists, the two-hour concert will also offer a number of musical surprises. "We can't let you in on everything you'll be seeing and hearing during the revue," Gausepohl said, "but I can say that this will be a magical night that you simply won't want to miss!"

The concert will be hosted by Lawrence Albert, a Seattle-based actor who is the voice of Harry Nile on the popular "Imagination Theater" radio series, and Harlan Zinck from the Pierce County Library System; the Artistic Director is Deborah Evans.

All proceeds from this event benefit musical programs offered by Tacoma Community College. A spirited leader in emphasizing and documenting student learning, TCC is committed to innovation and excellence, its inclusive internal and external community, and innovative integration of technology, achieved through the collective dedication and recognition of the TCC college family.
