Eating Philly steak sandwiches and bar burgers can't be good for a dining writer every week, right? This week, Sue Kidd bites into vegetarian burgers and finds a few good ones - and one not so good. She's looking for your veggie burger tips.

|Going more vegetarian is good for you and especially helps to greatly combat anthropogenic global warming.Myself I do eat those vegetarian burgers too (at home though).Basically what makes them far more palatable is condiments like fried onions, relish, bbq sauce, mayonnaise (cheating somewhat) and a slice of cheese (cheating a little here too as it comes from an animal source).
I am not completely a vegetarian however I eat meat products far less than I used to.
This might interest some of the Feedtacoma forum folks here too as several of us are cyclists, take public transportation to help the environment, grow our own food at home locally etc.
Here are some interesting links.

|Personally, I've tried the veggie burger at Marrow and it was pretty good. I prefer their lentil Wellington, it's inspired.
The best veggie burger that I had recently was actually in the center of the universe, at uneeda burger in Fremont.
