Wow... I can't believe it's been a year already. That combined with my high school reunion this year and I'm starting to feel old. ;)

FeedTacoma got its official start back on Aug. 7, 2006 and featured only five local blogs pooled together in one place. The site just couldn't stand still from there. After being so excited to be the only online resource Tacomans could get a sampling of local perspectives I started adding more. First came other blogs, then local photos, a clean and simple events calendar and discussion forum, the Tacomic, some RSS feeds and even local videos -- all free and ad-free! And they'll just keep coming! I have a 3 page to-do list of new enhancements and features to add that will continue to make FeedTacoma a great local online community.

Thanks to everyone who visits FeedTacoma and makes it your first stop anytime you get on the web. Thanks to the now 24 (and still counting) contributors who lend their unique voices in blog form and to RR Anderson in particular for offering his amazing artistic talent and whit.

I cherish this collaboration and am excited to see it forward into the future for the benefit of connecting with each other and our fair city Tacoma.
